A feasibility study is a crucial step to take before diving into any project and is generally performed during the project initiation phase of project management. It helps identify potential roadblocks, assess risks, and estimate resource allocation; skipping this step can lead to project failure, wasted resources, and financial losses.

This study examines the feasibility of incorporating two types of concrete waste, which currently end up in landfill, into the production process of ready-mix concrete: the waste generated during the initial production stage (ready-mix concrete waste), and waste created when demolition waste is treated to obtain artificial aggregate.

Food loss and waste have a negative environmental impact due to the water, land, energy and other natural resources used to produce the wasted food, along with post-consumption disposal costs. Reducing food waste will thus help improve sustainability and decrease the environmental impact of the food system. Using food waste for animal feed is of growing …

In order to use of these plastics, its been a try to utilize in concrete as substitute material for fine aggregate. In this experimental study, the concrete of M30 grade of concrete is partially replaced with two types of recycled plastic such as PET and PP individually by different percentages as 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25%. The …

The main purpose of this paper is to study the feasibility of producing concrete made of recycled materials, by using coal fly ash (FA) or granulated blast-furnace slag (GGBS) activated by waste water coming from concrete production and with lime residue coming from the waste of a slaked lime factory as the binder, instead of …
