It isn't present on the Xcel or the A400 Unico Light, just the 3-1/2 in. Unico and the Xtreme waterfowl version. The action isn't "Benelli-like" at all, the gas action closest to the Benelli is the Remington Versa-Max. The A400 is based on the Franchi action, re-released as the Beretta 391 Xtrema, now discontinued.

The A400 Xtreme Plus has a 7mm non-tapered, stepped rib, which I believe greatly improves its pointing ability and target acquisition. Combined with a steel mid-bead and a fibre optic front sight, I find that my vision is naturally guided down the rib and out to the target without interference, making this gun very instinctive while shooting.

I shot a friend's A400 Extreme this past weekend and liked it a lot. 30" barrel felt better than the normal 28" I shot with on my Extrema II. I also see there are a few A400 Xplor Unico guns out there with 30" barrels and prefer the traditional look of the wood stock and dark green receiver vice the camo pattern of the Extreme.

A glance at the A400 Unico and the Xtrema2 along with an exploded view of the Xtrema2 (above) leaves very little doubt as to the primary parent of the A400. The walnut stock of the A400 is designated as "new X-Tra Grain Technology with oil finishing." Though it looks greasy, slippery, and inauthentic in Beretta stock photographs, in person ...

I shoot a lot, i go hunting almost every weekend and take pretty good care of all my firearms, i have 6 beretta's A400 and this Unico in particular is giving me problems, it jamms from time to time. I wrote beretta usa telling them the problem and they asked for pictures of the bolt, extractor and barrel, after analizing they told me the ...

I used to run Win Super Target rounds in my A400. I would experience a FTE roughly 1 shell/box. The FTE hull was longer than the hulls that didn't have the FTE. Switching to Gun Clubs caused the FTE to go away. Also, given the uncertain number of rounds through the OPs A400, it would probably be a good idea to swap out the recoil …

It appears to be bowlsheet, as the magazine capacity of the A400 is two, maximum. The only way to get a fourth hull in the picture from a factory A400 is to hang it from a string or load up some two inch hulls. Nevertheless, the choice between a Vinci and an A400 is going to be more personal preference than anything else.

And the A400 12-bore with 3.1/2in chamber is certainly an exceptional performer in that the Unico technology used in its gas metering system, bolt design and magazine layout means that it can handle every type of cartridge from 24gram to a massive 64grams – that's an impressive 2.1/4oz in old money.

I have an A400 Sporting that I bought a month ago. I have 8 boxes of shells thru it, and countless failure to eject problems. I can shoot 2, and they eject great (shells kick 6 or 8 feet. I can shoot 2, and the first doesn't kick out, and the next up jams it. Sometimes, I can shoot one, and it doesn't kick out, and stays in the chamber. ...

Lebanese rivers, though numerous, are mostly winter torrents, draining the western slopes of the Lebanon Mountains. The only exception is the Līṭānī River (90 miles [145 km] long), which rises near the famed ruins of Baalbek (Baʿlabakk) and flows southward in Al-Biqāʿ to empty into the Mediterranean near historic Tyre. The two other …

Further drawing from the competition world, the new A400 Xtreme Plus barrel features a step rib with an integral mid-bead and fiber optic front bead in order to ensure the proper fit and sight picture for all conditions. Further enhancing the A400 Xtreme Plus is the addition of an extended charging handle and bolt release from the factory to ...
